The
Winnov Traveler provides high
quality integrated audio and video capture for Notebook PCs using a
PCMCIA adaptor. Low power consumption. Works with all software videoconferencing
protocols (H.320, H.323, H.324). Fully synchronised audio with video
capture.
Can be used to capture still images up 704x576 pixels, 16.8M colours (4CIF) in BMP or JPEG format and live video 32-352 x 24-288 at 25fps (PAL) and 32-320 x 24-240 at 30fps (NTSC) in AVI format.
The included quality headset and boom microphone provides high quality duplex audio. Audio capture, 8 bit or 16 bit mono or stereo with 8-48kHz audio sampling in WAV format.
Can be used for Video Mail and Videoconferencing using Microsoft NetMeeting, CU-SeeMe or FVC Click-to-Meet.
Full support for Video for Windows, DirectShow and DirectDraw.
Included applet provides simple means for setting up as a WebCam.
Software drivers and applets for Win 95/98, NT and Win2K (units work with some XP laptops but software is not XP certified)
