Portable Encoding Centre

• Winnov Extreme Multicaster 1 U Rack Mounted 4 Stream Encoder:
  • This unit is based on a special Winnov Broadcaster card that provides up to four streams from one input. Input is via a 'break-out' box mounted on a 1U bezel with spaces to mount up to four breakout boxes. Professional connections are made using BNC connectors for Video and XLR for Balanced audio input. The device has dual PIII 1GHz processors, 1GB RAM, Mirrored 30GB drives in front access hot swap drive bays, 10/100 Ethernet adaptor, CD-ROM and floppy drive. The system runs under an optimised Windows 2000.


• Winnov StreamCaster - 1 U Rack Mounted Single Stream Encoder:
  • This 1 U Encoder is based on a Winnov Videum 1000 Plus which will provide a single audio video stream and an independent single audio stream using the Encoder's onboard Sound card. Three video inputs are provided via an RCA connector for Composite Video, mini DIN for S-Video and special mini DIN for MXC. 3.5mm mini jack sockets provide audio inputs at microphone and line level. The device has a single PIII 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB hard disk mounted in a one of the two hot swap front access drive bays, 10/100 Ethernet adaptor, CD-ROM and floppy drive. The system runs under an optimised Windows 2000.


• Winnov StreamEngine XS - 1 U Rack Mounted Single Stream Encoder:
  • This 1 U Encoding Appliance is based on a Winnov Videum 1000 Plus which will provide a single audio video stream and an independent single audio stream using the Encoder's onboard Sound card. Three video inputs are provided via an RCA connector for Composite Video, mini DIN for S-Video and special mini DIN for MXC. 3.5mm mini jack sockets provide audio inputs at microphone and line level. • 1 U Drawer 15" TFT screen, Keyboard and 8 way KVM Switcher:
  • This 1 U high rack mounted unit provides control and access to the devices located in the rack. The bright 15" LCD display provides good screen resolution to allow monitoring of the streams. The combined keyboard mouse and video switcher allows easy switching between the devices in the rack.


• 3 Com 12 Port 10/100 1 U Rack mounted Switch:
  • The 3 Com 10/100 Switch is mounted in the rear of the rack and provided fast internal and simple external connectivity to the devices in the rack. The whole rack can be plugged into a network using the uplink port on the switch.


• 8 Way Rack Mounted Power Distribution Block:
  • This device provides power to all the devices in the rack via a single 240v 13A power input.


• 10 U Custom Flight Case 19" Rack Unit
  • All the above devices are located in a custom made 10 U flight case style 600mm deep 19" Rack unit with removal flight case ends, the unit is also fitted with four 'easy roll' castors and provides a rugged, transportable yet attractive unit with a 4 U expansion space. The complete unit is as shown in the enclosed pictures.
